Pioneering Digital Transformation
in the Middle East
AI is now deeply embedded in our daily lives—from virtual assistants on smartphones to chatbots, smart appliances, and self-driving cars. Industry is no exception. Companies are making decisions based on data, automating workflows, and managing operations in real time with AI. This wave of digital transformation is reshaping not just business processes, but also organizational culture and management strategy. In June 2025, South Korea’s leading AI cloud provider, MegazoneCloud, signed an exclusive partnership with the digital solutions firm NextEra, setting the stage to lead digital transformation across the Middle East.

Digital Transformation: A Survival Strategy in the AI Era
MegazoneCloud, a leading AI and cloud-native company in the Korean market, has been growing its cloud services into a next-generation core business since 2009. Spun off from its parent company in 2018, the company has expanded its digital services across all business sectors—from cloud adoption and operations to intelligent AI-powered transformation—to provide comprehensive digital solutions. With more than 2,000 AI and cloud experts, MegazoneCloud now partners with over 8,000 clients worldwide on their digital journeys. Its global strategy includes partnerships with major cloud service providers (CSPs), a network of over 140 ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partners, and its own proprietary solutions in cloud, AI, and cybersecurity—helping clients achieve innovation and growth.
NextEra, on the other hand, is a digital specialist firm launched in May 2025 as a joint venture between Aramco Digital—the digital and technology arm of Saudi Aramco—and Indian IT giant LTI Mindtree. Combining local insight with global IT expertise, the company is leveraging its competitiveness to lead digital transformation across the Saudi Arabian industrial landscape.

Korea’s Technology Meets Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030
Though geographically distant, MegazoneCloud of Korea and NextEra of Saudi Arabia found common ground through digital innovation. Their exclusive partnership, signed in June 2025, marks MegazoneCloud’s official entry into the Saudi digital market.
The collaboration traces back to the Korea AI Software Industry Association (KOSA), which began fostering ties with key Middle Eastern nations after participating in the Global IIoT Summit (GIITS) hosted by Saudi Aramco in November 2023. In October 2024, KOSA led a delegation—including MegazoneCloud and four other Korean AI and cloud firms—to Aramco’s headquarters in Dhahran to explore cooperation opportunities and showcase Korea’s technological strengths. These ongoing efforts, combined with MegazoneCloud’s expertise, ultimately secured the Saudi supply contract.
This agreement goes beyond a typical tech export. Through a Master Services Agreement (MSA), MegazoneCloud was named NextEra’s exclusive cloud partner in Saudi Arabia. The company will supply its SPACE CloudOps platform—a comprehensive solution that enables unified management of complex multi-cloud environments. The platform supports cloud governance, automation, real-time monitoring, and compliance, making it especially valuable in highly regulated markets like Saudi Arabia.
Following the MSA, both partners aim to establish a broader framework to facilitate the entry of Korean tech firms into the Middle East. MegazoneCloud plans to support Korean SaaS and AI companies looking to expand in the region through NextEra, while also collaborating on training programs and talent development initiatives that will strengthen Saudi Arabia’s digital ecosystem.
Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s national development strategy, Vision 20301, this partnership addresses core local demands such as digital sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and optimized cloud performance. It also lays the groundwork for broader adoption of next-generation technologies like AI and IoT.
- 1.Saudi Vision 2030 is a policy blueprint that aims to diversity the economy, empower citizens, create a vibrant environment for local and overseas investors, and establish Saudi Arabia as a global leader.
“This agreement goes beyond simple solution implementation―it significantly demonstrates that MegazoneCloud’s core competencies and customer-tailored value have gained recognition in the global market. The journey that began with KOSA cooperation has allowed us to foster a relationship with NextEra and Aramco Digital, and we aim to continue to establish a solid bridgehead to facilitate Korean technology companies’ expansion into the Middle East.”
- Joo-wan Lee, Chairman of MegazoneCloud
A New Era of Korea–Saudi Partnership
This is more than a one-off agreement—it signals the start of long-term, strategic cooperation between Korea and Saudi Arabia. In a time of intense global competition for digital dominance, a Korean company’s successful strategic partnership is a significant milestone. With a global footprint that includes offices in nine countries—across North America, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Oceania—MegazoneCloud is now poised to take a major leap forward in the Middle East.
